A Higher Quality Of Care.

What is APPLE Accreditation?

The Accreditation Professional Preschool Learning Environment (APPLE) designated is a national early learning accreditation recognized by the State of Florida. This certification recognizes schools such as Carlton Academy  for maintaing the highest standards of preschool and pre-kindergarten care and education. Earning this accreditation is a reflection of the academy’s excellence and an acknowledgement of its investment in quality. Only 20% of all Florida preschools achieve this standard.

How important is accreditation?

As a parent, you should know that not all accreditations are equal. When researching the right preschool for your family, make sure your child will receive an education that meets or exceeds the most rigorous educational and safety standards that are used to measure preschool environments. At Carlton Academy, our APPLE accreditation and Gold Seal of Excellence designation ensure that your child will thrive in a progressive and nurturing environment.

What does it mean to receive the Gold Seal of Excellence?

In 1996, the Florida Legislature established the Gold Seal Quality Care program to acknowledge childcare facilities that are accredited by nationally recognized agencies and have the highest standards for childcare and supervision. Only advanced education centers that have passed a rigorous application and stringent inspections process can earn this special symbol of quality by the State of Florida.

Carlton Academy has demonstrated that it provides a level of care that greatly exceeds childcare licensing standards established by the Florida Statutes and the Florida Administrative Code. Our Gold Seal designation provides our parents with enhanced confidence that their children are in a quality program where growth and development is core to the Academy’s mission.
