Carlton Academy After School Program

A safe place to have fun and prepare for the next day.

A safe, enriching place after school hours is available at Carlton Academy Day School. We have created a safe, fun, supervised environment where children can spend time with friends after school. Although not offered immediately, we look to soon provide transportation from neighborhood schools. Our centers align with year-round school calendars and we offer fun-filled programs during holidays, no-school days and other school breaks.

Our school-age program acknowledges each child as an individual with a variety of interests and needs. We offer a balance of organized activities, downtime and individual time. Most days, they need an opportunity to unwind and stretch their minds and muscles.Activities in our school-age After School Program are created to provide each child with activities that are fun and stimulating. Kindergarten through sixth-grade children can choose something different to do every day. They can play games, participate in themed activities, listen to music, create arts and crafts, play on our outdoor or indoor playgrounds and more.

Our Goal is to Promote More Free Family Time For Your Evenings

We provide the perfect place for your child to capture some relaxed downtime in her busy day. Children can choose to have a snack, read a book, do homework or engage in other interests, as long as they do not involve electronic/video games from home. If you, as the parent, request that a certain amount of their time with us be allocated to studying or preparing homework, we will assist you in the furtherance of your family goals and direct your child to our supervised study/homework rooms, separated from the rest of the school’s activity, where quiet study tables and state-of-the-art computers are available.

Homework Help

Our teachers provide homework assistance* so you can enjoy more free time with your child in the evenings.

*Tutoring is not provided. Upon a child’s/parent’s request, our teachers will assist with understanding homework. The teacher who is assisting may not necessarily have any background in elementary education.
